The project for the first time in Peru departs from the reality of a traditionally marginalized sector of society to create a museum. By addressing issues of importance ot the locals like housing and local economic activities related to tourism. The project explores how reorganizing these variables aesthetically through an art and architectural proposal, a museum coud have an impact in the lifes of locals and become a model for development in towns which gather similar conditions. The sharp contrast between the rough and finished spaces, would stress visually the social and political elements of the project. |
